Eight Students Tested Positive for or Confirmed with COVID-19 Infection

Dashboard on the Confirmed COVID-19 cases in CUHK launched

The Communications and Public Relations Office of CUHK has announced eight new campus-related COVID-19 cases. Among them, two are confirmed cases and the other six are preliminarily confirmed cases. All of them are students.

The university stated that the hostel rooms of the students concerned, toilets and all communal areas, as well as the campus venues of their latest visits have been disinfected. The students who tested positive have been placed in rooms with a private bathroom while they wait for further arrangements. All students who live on the same floor have undergone rapid antigen testing last night (12 February).

Meanwhile, the University has launched a dashboard to provide updates regarding the latest confirmed COVID-19 cases within the CUHK community.
